Mr. Miller’s practice focuses on real estate transactions and litigation, as well as trust and commercial litigation.  He has a vast array of experience in real estate, real estate litigation, and subrogation.  Mr. Miller has represented professionals—including lawyers, escrow agents, real estate brokers, and insurance carriers in litigation.  Mr. Miller also regularly counsels real estate professionals and brokers on best practices and transactional documents.  Mr. Miller has also worked for some of the largest insurance carriers in the nation handling a wide range of subrogation litigation. Additionally, he has assisted start-ups with intellectual property issues. Before practicing law, Mr. Miller gained extensive experience working as an analyst at Countrywide Financial and an escrow officer for one of the largest home builders in the nation.

Mr. Miller was born in Rock Island, Illinois. He received his bachelor’s degree in history and a minor in business from Illinois State University. After living abroad in Austria, Mr. Miller returned to the United States and earned his master’s degree in history, publishing an award winning thesis.  Mr. Miller then went to law school in Arizona, and is currently admitted to practice in both California and Arizona.

While Mr. Mr. Miller resided in Arizona, he served on the board of a non-profit organization, the Arizona Military Museum. During this time Mr. Miller assisted the museum with legal issues including contract review and analysis and compliance issues.
